Bevy Boyer

Bevy Boyer has a Bachelor of Music Degree in guitar
performance from Utah State University. She received the Utah State University Guitar Player of the Year Award in 1987.

Bevy teaches private guitar students, both children and adults. She also teaches music ensembles and pop/rock style bands. She has been teaching since 1985 and worked teaching and developing programs for ScottSound Music of North Dallas since 1987.

Bevy began teaching private lessons and group college classes while still attending Utah State University. After college she taught group guitar and music classes at private schools and day care centers.

Bevy has performed in variety bands and as a solo artist for various private functions. She also plays guitar for musicals in the metroplex. Some of her musical pit work includes “Grease”, “Tommy”, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Oklahoma, and “Rocky Horror Show”.

James Edwards

James Edward has played drums in school bands and profession bands. He teaches basic drum rudiments to children and teens that want to play in school marching and symphonic bands and he teaches drum set to both children and adults. He teaches individual lessons and teaches drummers in our Ensemble and Band programs to play songs with a group.
